Challenges

Sigma For Petroleum Services needed to replace their existing system with a more efficient solution, the objective was to integrate company’s operations and processes into one comprehensive system. The management noticed that the processes of the business were not as efficient or productive as it should be and the quality of data was doubtful. The finance department encountered many inefficiencies in their processes, they relied heavily on manual paper work and spread sheets which was error prone and time consuming, Moreover they lacked the information related to budgeting, forecasting and they had pressure to make financial reporting and analysis. Moreover the HR department faced difficulties to monitor and manage employee’s data which was taking a long time to be handled. There was no automated system in place to track employees time and attendance, so the HR administrators were exerting efforts and time to maintain employee’s record needed for payroll processing.


Implementation

Sigma Group decided to deploy the SAP S/4HANA to integrate processes and build a solid foundations for sustainable business growth. As part of this project, the company implemented OTMS - a solution developed by ECS that works as an interface to integrate data collection method with the Time Management Module to streamline Employee time tracking.


Results

As a result of the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance and HCM, Sigma has simplified and integrated processes that adhere to industry best practices, This means that the company now enjoys capabilities which accelerate decisions and provide accurate information in real time. The finance system became intuitive and user-friendly and allowed accounting tasks to be completed more quickly and efficiently. Moreover, it improved financial planning, and forecasting accuracy. Some of the benefits that have resulted from the deployment of SAP S/4HANA, included:

Future Plans
